pantry update

spraying texture on the walls,
what a mess!!!
i think what made it difficult
was the small area we
were woking in.

after letting the texture set for
a while you take a scraper and
lightly scrap over the texture,

this is called knock down texture and
gives the walls a really cool appearance.

randy primed the walls mon. night
and i painted the walls today.
the cabinets will go along the far
back wall and the wall on the left.

the lot is cleared and gorgeous!!

Bob and Snuffy finished burning
and clearing the lot this week.
We drove out there today to see
it and of course make the
final payment....it's amazing
to see the final product!!

We're extremely happy with the end
result and can't believe how big it is!!
We still need to hook up water and
electric, but the next major project
is to put in a driveway and pad for
the RV and boat...more $$$$, so that
may be a few months yet

When we got home from the lake
we started our next project at the casa.
yep, that would be louie taking out
the shelving in our pantry, we are
replacing them with cabinets....
tomorrow we patch holes, texture
the walls and paint.

louie's sporting his summer hair cut,
I hope that shinny head isn't
blinding you....

we were supposed to go to race feast
at thunderhill race track in kyle
but the weather in too crappy,
so it's pizza and tv night!

Lot Clearing

since the weather was not in our favor
to get on the lake we decided to start
having the lot cleared.
the wild man in the cage is "snuffy"
the lot should be cleared by the
end of this week...I can't wait to see it!!

It was almost 90 degrees when we
got to the lake on Wed. but Fri.
night a major cold front blew
in and made it pretty chilly!!
Good thing we had HEAT :) :)

This huge flock of pelicans would
travel from one end of the lake
to the other everyday. It was even better
to have them flying next to you
while your in the boat on the lake.
